Job Purpose:
The Product Specialist I plays a key role in growing Anchor Industries’ business by connecting customers with custom fabric solutions that meet their unique needs. This position combines technical expertise, product knowledge, and customer relationship skills to drive sales, strengthen client partnerships, and contribute to ongoing product and market development initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication—phone, email, video, and in-person visits.
- Generate and qualify new leads through outreach, trade shows, referrals, and digital channels.
- Present Anchor’s products in a way that highlights quality, innovation, and value.
- Close sales effectively to meet or exceed defined goals and revenue targets.
- Use Anchor’s quoting and manufacturing systems to prepare and process accurate orders.
- Provide responsive, solutions-oriented customer service, including support for product returns and repairs.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, production, and marketing) to communicate customer feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Stay informed on product updates, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.
- Represent Anchor Industries at industry events, trade shows, and customer visits in a professional and engaging manner.
- Uphold Anchor’s values by communicating openly and respectfully with all customers, partners, and colleagues.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant work experience will be considered.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in sales, customer service, or technical support—ideally in a manufacturing or construction-related environment.
Physical Demands:

- Primarily office-based; frequent sitting and computer use.
- Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs. and moderate physical activity when visiting production or installation sites.
- Ability to work in both climate-controlled and production environments as needed.

Travel Requirements:
- Approximately 6 weeks per year for trade shows, training, or customer visits (domestic travel primarily).
