Position Summary

The Engineering Graphics Specialist leads the development of engineering documentation that supports the understanding, installation, and use of Anchor products. This role bridges engineering, marketing, and sales to create clear, accurate, and visually compelling technical materials.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Develop detailed engineering drawings and technical illustrations using AutoCAD and Inventor
    • Plan, elevation, and isometric views
    • Architectural drawing sets
    • Building installation instructions
  • Create realistic product renderings using Adobe Creative Suite and KeyShot
    • Apply textures, lighting, materials, and backgrounds
  • Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and code requirements
  • Lead the Engineering Change Control process and coordinate weekly EC meetings
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, sales, and field technicians
  • Continuously improve installation instructions and user documentation

 

What We’re Looking For

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, and KeyShot
  • Strong ability to interpret blueprints and specifications
  • Knowledge of graphic arts and applicable software

Education & Experience

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience
  • Post-high school training in graphics/computer graphics preferred
  • Anchor product knowledge a plus

 

Physical Requirements

Primarily a seated position with frequent keyboarding. Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. and light physical movement as needed. Vision abilities include close vision and color vision.

 

Travel

Travel as needed.
